Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a tactile, meaningful experience at the pottery wheel. This special workshop is designed for beginners and curious creatives who want to try wheel throwing in a relaxed, supportive environment—no prior experience required. Whether you come with a partner, a friend, or treat yourself to a solo date, this workshop invites you to slow down, get your hands messy, and create something lasting together. What to Expect: - A guided introduction to the pottery wheel - Hands-on instruction in centering, shaping, and forming clay - Time to create 1–2 wheel-thrown pieces - A cozy, welcoming studio atmosphere with Valentine’s Day touches Who This Is For: - Couples looking for a unique Valentine’s date - Friends celebrating love in all its forms - Individuals wanting a grounding, creative experience Space is limited, and this workshop is expected to fill quickly. Please note: Each booking counts as 1 wheel spot. If you are planning on participating with a partner, make sure to book for 2. BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) This workshop is BYOB. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during the class. Please note: - Alcohol consumption should remain moderate to ensure a safe and focused studio environment - You must be 21+ to consume alcohol - Selah Studio does not provide alcohol Please Note: This class includes bisque firing one piece (the first firing phase of the pottery process). A glaze add on is available if you would like us to glaze and fire one of your pieces (this turns it to glass and makes pottery food safe). ** We recommend wearing clothes that you are fine getting messy in (clay is muddy when wet, so expect to walk away with some paint on your clothes.), wearing a ponytail for long hair, and bringing a hand towel or apron. We unfortunately do not give refunds for booked classes.
